TATRA MOOD ORCHESTRA

The Tatra Mood Orchestra was created in 2004 and is made up of the professional musicians living or working in Zakopane.
The orchestra’s repertoire covers not only classical music, but also old popular hits, dances and more. It’s most important challenge is to popularize Polish music, especially the composers associated with the Tatra mountains(Karol Szymanowski, Mieczyslaw Karłowicz, Henryk M. Górecki). The Tatra Mood Orchestra often collaborates with other ensembles and artists from the Podhale region.

The concerts are organized as well for the Zakopane’s citizens as for the tourists visiting Podhale. The Orchestra performs in concert halls, hotels, churches and in the open air.
